New Sunnies + My Favorite Jeans

Hi loves! Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone's week started out on the right foot. I know mine did (even with a few obstacles), thanks to these floral sunnies! Seriously, how cute are these?? I was looking for a pair of round sunglasses (LOVE my Ray-Bans but I wanted to change it up for a minute), and I stumbled upon these - it was love at first sight. I mean, how can someone have anything even close to a bad day when they have daisies on their sunglasses? Daisies + tortoise shell equals perfection in my book when it comes to finding that unique, stand-out from the crowd pair of sunnies.

AND, I wanted to share my new favorite jeans with you guys. You can't go wrong with a pair of black, destructed denim, and the released hem takes this pair to the next level. This number from William Rast fits like a glove, and makes me feel so good about myself every time I put them on! With the high rise cut and almost jegging-like feel, they are a great slimming skinny jean to add to your closet. My mom ended up buying a pair too because I couldn't stop raving about them! I've grabbed three pairs of William Rast jeans in the past two months, and I'm not looking back. I will gladly continue to fuel this obsession with zero guilt - how often can a girl say that she finds the perfect pair of jeans?? (Answer: three times in two months). Patchwork & Tweed

Patchwork denim and tweed are two of the hottest new trends to hit the fall fashion scene - talk about some fun, updated details! If I could wear this pair of patchwork denim from The Limited every day, I would. This is the most comfortable and flattering pair of jeans I've ever owned, and I feel great wearing them because of it! Wear them how you would any other pair of jeans - the patches add some extra flair, but will not take away from or clash with the top that you want to pair them with. And these jeans are work appropriate for casual Friday's (looking at all of you who are upset you "can't" wear your destructed denim to work) - it's a win-win!

I decided to pair my jeans with a tweed blazer and silk tank top. Tweed is coming back in a huge way this year, found mostly in that "third piece" item, such as a blazer, vest or jacket. This jacket in particular has some interesting pleat details along the sleeves and edges of the piece, along with a tie in the back - when I first spotted it, I knew it had to be mine! As far as accessories go, I decided to stick with the same color scheme, and went with basic black strappy sandals and this absolutely adorable Michael Kors bag. This bag might actually be perfect - its medium size keeps me from putting my entire life in it and weighing myself down, it has a full zip closure, and it also has a great pocket in the front that fits your phone. No more frantically digging through your purse when you're racing to answer an important call! Happy shopping loves! xoxo
